Eeep. Keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn’t “out” who I really am too much…seeing as I’ve only told 2 or 3 people in my real life the story, I suppose it’s not too likely.
It’s not so much my university I’m irritated at - I know rules are in place for a reason - but it was the poorly-run shop that I was complaining about.
Seriously, when someone comes in with a customer-service issue, suggesting they come back later (without any suggestion of “the owner will be in at…”) isn’t very helpful.
