    I actually saw an exchange preceding showing of this graphic one morning. I don’t know if the picture was shown more than just that one time. The intro to it from the guy on the couch was that he had played a trick on one of their interns, asking the intern to get some pictures of the Lincoln-Douglas debates to illustrate the story.

    When the obviously bogus graphic came on the screen, I was torn between the possibility that this was a joke, following on the intro to it, or whether the whole production and on air staff really were clueless. If the latter, have they no Wikipedia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln-Douglas_debates_of_1858
